He was predeceased by: his son Kevin; his parents, Gilbert Thompson and Doris Thompson; and his brother Clayton (Sheila). He is survived by: his wife Hanna; his children, Lindy (Sanjani), Shiela of Maple Ridge and Michelle (Manon) of Calgary; his grandchildren, Linnette, Shawna (Doug), Lucas, Tanya and Kremma (Rahul); and his great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Tristan, Isabella, Jared, Drew, Teagan, Audina and Araav.
