He was predeceased by: his wife Laura; his children, Hugh and Gloria; and his brother Don. He is survived by: his child Gordon Douglas McTavish (Pat) of Rimbey, AB.; his grandchildren, Troy McTavish (Katy), Kelly McTavish, Jason Alward (Nikki), Marc Alward (Aimee) and Trevor Alward; his great grandchildren, Dalanie, Nicole Alward and Eesak McTavish; and his sister Margaret.
