He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his children, Thelma and Bill; his son-in-law Pat; and his great grandchild Robyn.

He is survived by: his wife Mabel; his children, Vern (Shirley) and Doug; his daughter-in-law Susan; his grandchildren, Sean (Erin), Hanna, Ryan (Gwen), Daniel, Anthony and Andrew; his sisters, Ada Benedict and Thelma Maetche; his grandchildren, Dalena, James (Cassandra) and Brad (Sonia); his great grandchildren, Maren and Kaden; and also, Dianne and Terry (Sam).
