He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandmother Julie Coates; his wife Judy; his children, Robert (Tammy), Christene Coates, Heather Guey and David (Trevor); his grandchildren, Kory Mundt, Doryen, Tyler, Brady Guey and Tristan Weiser; his siblings, Pearl Hofferd, Kay Coates, Janice Quick (Glenn), Ken (Pat) and Calvin (June); his grandparents, Robert, Julia Coates, Frank and Pearl Wald; his parents, Walter Coates (Ike) and Eleanor Coates; his nieces, Nicole Hofferd and JoAnne Knievel; and his close friend Allan Coswell. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
