Joanne Backstrom Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanne Backstrom of Grimshaw, Alberta, who passed away on November 10, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Joe Boucher; and her sisters, Kathy Bandura and Marilyn Gillman. She is survived by: her children, Angie Patterson (Rene), Eric Backstrom and Brad Backstrom (Kara); her grandchildren, Taylor Bak, Hudson Bak, Brianna Backstrom and Layla Backstrom; and her siblings, Joe Boucher and Margie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Royal Canadian Legion #253 (5011 49 Ave, Grimshaw, AB T0H1W0).
