It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Norman Kaftan (Grande Prairie, Alberta), born in Bay Tree, Alberta, who passed away on January 11, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice; his son Greg Kaftan; his grandson Victor; and his parents, Michael Kaftan and Katherine Kaftan.
He is survived by: his grandson Michael Kaftan; and his brother Ted Kaftan.
Due to Covid, a private Graveside Service will be held at the Spirit River Cemetery.
