It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Elizabeth Young (Grande Prairie, Alberta), born in Spirit River, Alberta, who passed away on December 18, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Traplin and Vera Traplin; her husbands, Charles Frances Keown (Frank) and Lawrence Arvid Young; her sister Sarah Walker; and her son Richard Jackson Keown.
She is survived by: her children, Judith Carr, Joan Singer, Janice Manzulenko, Lorraine Keown, Connie Matijevich, Shirlee Deley, Sharon Neault, Ron Keown and Diane Knoblauch; and her siblings, Thelma Keown (Telly), Cam Traplin and John Traplin.
