He was predeceased by: his brother Don; his parents, Thomas and Isabella; and his parents-in-law, Gladys (Jack Ray), Gerald (Dorthy), Pearl (Calvin Canning), Lorne (Mildred), Russell (May), Gordon (Ella), Jim, Don (Jean) and Roy.
He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Jane and Jean; his friend Mina Dunn; and his caregiver Laurie Sluymers. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
He was a long-time member of the Knights of Columbus and thoroughly enjoyed the charity work he did through the Knights.
