He was predeceased by: his parents, Sigurd Haugland and Inga Haugland; his son Wayne; his daughter-in-law Charlene Ford; and his granddaughter Desiree.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Sands; his children, Stan (Christine), Sheryl Lokseth (Garry), Lynn Garberg (Norman) and Lorne (Marlene); and his grandchildren, Michelle Friesen (Cory), Mandy Stuart (Curtis), Robyn Wall (Brad), Kyle Lotoski (Felicia), Kayla Shaw (Chris), Chelsea Lokseth (Emerie), Kyle Lokseth (Tricia), Krista Lokseth (Marcus), Lindsay Tylosky (Erik), Britney Carlstrom (Chad), Katelyn Duffy (Phil), Coleman Garberg (Kyrra), Chanella Haugland (Matt) and Greg Haugland (Melissa). He is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (9929 105 Ave, Grande Prairie, AB T8V1G7).
