She was predeceased by: her parents, Martha Welzel and Alfons Welzel; her husband Adolf; her sisters, Maria Schrenk and Gertrud Barthel; and her great grandchild Eden Helmrich.
She is survived by: her daughters, Evelyn Helmrich (Ingo) and Sylvia Richards (Alwyn). She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM at the Bear Creek Funeral Home (11802 99 Ave, Grande Prairie, AB T8W0C7).
