It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Magdeline Luken (Grande Prairie, Alberta), who passed away on December 12, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ignatz Luken; her parents, Conrad Krug and Martha Krug; her siblings, Conrad Krug, Hubert Krug (Steffi) and Hilda Schulzek (Helmut); and her siblings-in-law, Maria Luken, Alfons Luken, Otto Luken, Elli Samson (Hubert), Erna Newman (William), Joseph Luken (Denise), Henry Luken, Tony Breunig, Paula Thoma and Martha Pfoh.
She is survived by: her children, Marty (Kim), Maria Young, Clem (Sue), Fran Primeau (Scott) and Jason; her grandchildren, Nick (Katie), Kelsey (Cory), Mitchell (Nisha), Emily, Maddy, Jill (James), Aaron, Sabrina (Doug), Mandi, Kristian, Addison (Dixon) and Samantha; her great grandchildren, Mila, Ellory, Layne, Bennett, Palmer, Katelyn and Brooklyn; and her siblings-in-law, Lisbeth Krug, Agnes Breunig, Hubert Luken (Diane), Liz Luken, John Thoma and Alphonse Pfoh. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
