It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Louise Viercant (Grande Prairie, Alberta), born in Innisfail, Alberta, who passed away on January 5, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Griffith and Doris Griffith; her husband Ernie Viercant; her siblings-in-law, Harry, Violet Viercant and Brother Kenneth Griffith; her sister Lillian; and her brothers-in-law, John Nedohin, Aleck Anderson (Betty), Leonard Sales (Evelyn) and Leslie Werle.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kimberley Dreger (Jim Stephen), Leeann (Brent North), Karly (Mike Cole), Kenton (Madison Dreger), Channelle (Devin Zaichkowsky), Landon (Stephanie Deley), Leah Wells, Justin Berg (Stacey Schindel) and Aftin (Dustin Livingston); her great grandchildren, Ryleigh, Avery, Claire, Nolan, Hadden, Lincoln, Merrick, Blakely, Brooks, Ava, Austin, Karis and Traysen; her daughters, Karen Dreger (Leon), Dianne Deley (Dave), Gail Wells (Brodie) and Valerie Berg; and her sisters, Joyce Fox (Stan) and Betty Wilkie (Willie).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mom's memory to the Central Peace Health Complex Auxiliary (cheques made payable to Central Peace Health Complex Auxiliary Club and mailed to Box 866 Spirit River, Alberta T0H 3G0) or the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital (gphospitaldoundation.ca), or a charity of one's choice.
