She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederica Habkirk and Robert Habkirk; her children, Thomas Head and Heather Head; and her siblings, Bob Habkirk and Marion Parkins.

She is survived by: her husband Ken Head; her children, Gord Head (Cheryl), Joanne Porta (Mark) and Jim Head (Susan); her grandchildren, Jennifer Hughes (Blake), Stacey Petrie (Clay), Bobby Head (Amelie), Chris Porta (Cristi), Tom Porta (Allyson), Tim Porta (Erin), Kate Scheideman (John), Zoe Head and Sam Head; her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Harper Hughes, Bird, Louisa Porta, Isla, Harrison Porta, Jack and Hank Scheideman; her sister Betty Nesselbeck; and her family Dr. Daniel Prada. She is also survived by many friends and especially for family, where the children and then the grandchildren.
