It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Jean Sorgaard (Grande Prairie, Alberta), born in Neepawa, Manitoba, who passed away on January 20, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Edward Sorgaard; her children, Kayce Sorgaard and Ryan Sorgaard; her grandchildren, Haakon Sorgaard and Trygve Sorgaard; her parents, Neil Thiessen and Jean Thiessen; her sisters, Janice Roberts (Byron), Doris Schallhorn (Rob) and Debbie Rusling (Travis); her father-in-law Chester Sorgaard; and her sister-in-law Trina Meyaard (Jeff). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
