He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Braun and Margaret Braun; his siblings, Henry, Mary, Annie and Margaret; and his son Darrell.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Garth (Katrin), Janice (Cary), Wanda (Neal) and Kathy (Craig); his grandchildren, Jessica, Jarrod, Alexis, Aysha, Kalen, Peter (Robyn), Zac, Aaron, Kaylynn (Brandt), Leysan and Kjell; and his nieces, Edie (Howie) and Lori (Roman).
