She was predeceased by: her parents, John Whiteway and Maude Whiteway of St. Juliens, NL.; and her siblings, Kevin and Phyllis. She is survived by: her daughters, Sylvia (Scott), Nicole (Luke) and Chelsea (Eric); her grandchildren, Dominique (Johnathan) and Ryder; her siblings, Edward (Bonnie), Lill (Ed), Anne (Wayne), Gord (Laverne), Rose (Kev), Ken (Regina), Daphne (Dwayne), Sharon (Roy) and Cora (Jeff); and her sister-in-law Jackie.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in her memory to the Canadian Cancer Society AB/NWT Division (200, 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, AB, T2E 2P5).
