It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jacob Michael Dacyk of Grande Prairie, Alberta, born in Fairview, Alberta, who passed away on July 19, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Marco Dacyk, Helen Dacyk, Nick Gelech and Pearl Gelech; his parents, Bill Dacyk and Mary Dacyk; his brothers, David Dacyk and Kenny Dacyk; and his nephews, Preston Erickson and Greg Dacyk.
He is survived by: his children, Carla Dacyk Carrie Humphreys (Brian Bak), Jaclyn Dacyk and Justin Dacyk; his stepdaughters, Megan Derksen and Nichole Sales; his grandchildren, Brayden Bak, Kylie Bak, Kestyn Bak, Ethan Humphreys and Trysten Humphreys; his siblings, Lorraine Yerxa (Dale), Jeanette Lund Marilyn Leary (Carl), Larry Dacyk (Ev), Sharon Erickson (David Andrewsky), Dennis Dacyk (Val) and Bev Miller (Brian); and his spouse Dede. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and cherished friends.
Due to the current situation with COVID 19 a service will not be held at this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada and Fairview Hospital Palliative care.
