He was predeceased by: his brother Eric Stamp; his son Darren; his daughter-in-law Maureen McDermott; his parents, Werner and Minnie Thiessen; his siblings, Uwe, Herman and Sonia Lieler; and his brother-in-law Rico Lieler.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Loskill; his son Kelvin (Agatha); his granddaughters, Nikita (Matt), Natasha and Erika (Iain); and his great grandchildren, Emmet, Avery and Claire. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Gus may be made to the Wembley United Church (PO Box 534, Wembley, AB, T0H 3S0) or a charity of one's choice.
