He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ryan and Edith Ryan; his son Donald Ryan; his sister Lois Lofstrom; and his brothers-in-law, Alphons Lofstrom, Morris Lofstrom, Mike Mazur and Bruno Sonnenberg.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Jean Dean; his children, Barb, Leona Eyben (Kelly) of McBride, BC, Thomas Ryan (Shelly) of McBride, BC, Barbara Sask (Darcy) of Camrose and Patricia Trarback (Kenny) of Grovedale, Alberta.; his grandchildren, Amy Vause (Dwayne), Steven Eyben (Jenna), Amanda Eyben, Coltan Ryan (Meagan), Craig Ryan (Bryony), Custin Ryan (Suzanne Lawrence), Pamela Sask, Michelle Dykstra (Thomas), Marshall Trarback and Marissa Trarback (Matthew Sacco); and his daughter-in-law Cheryl Ryan.
With limited attendees allowed to gather due to Covid-19 restrictions, Live streaming will be available through Bear Creek Funeral Home's YouTube channel for those who are unable to attend.
