He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Wright and Germaine Wright (Marchildon); his brother-in-law Don Lanteigne; his brother Michael Wright; and his nephew Andrew Wright.

He is survived by: his siblings, Diane Lanteigne, Ellen Wright, Janet Wright, Murray Wright (Barb) and Paul Wright; and his sister-in-law Bernice Poirier. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
