He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Hermanson and Roy Hermanson. He is survived by: his children, Heather Lorraine of Hythe, Neil Garry and Amber Dawn; his wife Barbara Anne Hermanson (Wood) of Hythe; his daughter-in-law Caroline; his grandchildren, Callum and Luke of Calgary; his son-in-law Tony of Hythe; his grandchildren, Echo, Molly, Henry, Koral, Jasmine, Juniper, Gideon, Brooke, Daphne, Clark and Caleb (Hannah) of Grande Prairie; and his brother Raymond Hermanson.
