She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Hellmer and Irene Hellmer. She is survived by: her children, Crystal Cyr-Martin (Stan Trider) of Hines Creek, AB and Miles Cyr (Debbie Levey) of Williams Lake, BC; her sisters, Rita Lapointe of Calgary, AB and Joyce Timko (Martin) of Tilley, AB; her granddaughters, Veronica Dougherty (Jeremy) of Grande Prairie, AB and Kimberly St (Adam); her great grandchildren, Ethan Dougherty, Austin Dougherty, Bailey St. Amant, Elliot St. Amant, Torunn Mortensen and Scarlett Mortensen; her in-laws, Eva Wikenheiser of Calgary, AB and Roland Anderson of Lethbridge, AB; her husband Armand Cyr; her son Lex Cyr; and her siblings, Angeline Zahenaiko, Bernice Neilson, Verna Wigemyr, Marvin Hellmer and Sylvia Brost. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church (10404 102 St, Grande Prairie, AB T8V2W3). COVID broke out and their lives were never the same.
