He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Peter D. Friesen and Margaret; and his siblings, Vern and Mary Ann Warkentin. He is survived by: his wife Anne; and his children, Arlene (Mansel Jones), Gerald (Cathy), Wendell (Wanda), Doug (Eunice) and Tamela Friesen. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
