Don Friesen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Don Friesen (Grande Prairie, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Don shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Don farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Peter D. Friesen and Margaret; and his siblings, Vern and Mary Ann Warkentin. He is survived by: his wife Anne; his children, Arlene (Mansel Jones), Gerald (Cathy), Wendell (Wanda), Doug (Eunice) and Tamela Friesen; and his brothers, Norman and Ralph (Hanna). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
