He was predeceased by: his brother Gary; his grandson Avery; and his parents, Bill Rutberg and Corine Rutberg. He is survived by: his wife Carol-Ann (Schnell); his sons, Wayne (Corrie), Randy and Gary (Gillian); his grandchildren, Keandra, Alyssa, Mason and Liam; and his siblings, Rod and Judy.
