He was loved and cherished by many people including: his close friend Lucy; his children, Everett Steinhauer of Saddle Lake, Roland Martel of Vancouver, Harvey Martel of Vancouver, Artimus Martel of Vancouver, Lazarus Martel of Vancouver and Patricia Martel of Vancouver; his siblings, Darcy, Darrel, Randy, Lawrence, Clarence, Doris, Joanne, Bernice, Myrna, Brenda, Melissa and Bonnie; his parents, Harvey Wood and Amelia Wood; his grandparents, Artimus and Maryanne Wood; his sister Dianne; and his aunts, Elsie and Violet. He was also cherished by step children; step grandchildren.
