He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Whitford and Edna McGilvery Whitford; his siblings, George Whitford, Allan Whitford, Gordon Steinhauer, Myrtle Matist, Kathy Whitford and Marilyn Whitford; his brother-in-law Edmond Matist; his uncle Allan Houle; his aunt Clara Quinn; and his nieces, Kathy Tremblay, Tanya Steinhauer, Cindy Whitford and Cathy Steinhauer.

He is survived by: his siblings, Henry Whitford (Angie), Dehlia Whitford, Virginia Whitford, Mary Brertton and Dwayne Whitford; his sisters-in-law, Delia Memnook-Whitford and Suzie Erasmus; his uncle William Whitford; his close friend Irene Houle; and his adoptive daughter Sara Bull. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews & grandchildren.
