He was predeceased by: his parents, Constance Young and John Mayfield; his sister Brightstar Young; and his nephews, Troy Jr. and Stoney Calf.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Dora Running Rabbit; his children, Wendell, Jack and Tilson; his stepchildren, Cameron and Owen; his brothers, Troy and Wes Young; his adoptive mother Grace Young; his goddaughter Ardelle Young; and his father-in-law Floyd Running Rabbit.
