He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Hébert and Philippe Hébert; his siblings, Lucie Gosselin, Marcel Hebert and Noel Hebert; his former wife Lillianne Hebert; and his son Norman Benoit.

He is survived by: his wife Doris Benoit; his children, Maurice Frechette (Toni), Louise Bencharski, Mike Benoit, Diane Benoit and Karen Benoit; his siblings, Hélène Roy (Raymond), Denis Hebert (Thérèse), Andre Hebert (Michelle) and Laurent Hebert (Audrey); his brother-in-law Philippe Gosselin; his grandchildren, Derek, Josée, Graham, Jordan, Darcie, Joelle, Taylor, Justin and Kaitlyn; and his great grandchildren, Beau, Jax, Isabelle, Tristen, Julien and Joelle.
