She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Deschamps and Annie Deschamps; her siblings, Mary Deschamps, George Deschamps and Eli Deschamps; her stepson Homer Smith; and her grandchildren, Summerlee Smith, Tori Dion Trottier, Clinton Dion and Christian Dion.

She is survived by: her husband Gordon; her children, Vernon (Lila), Bernice Moyah (Randy), Clayton (Teena), Wayne Joe (Priscilla), Lorne (Dina), Chris (Mary Ellen), Elaine Ross (Adam), Noel (Chantelle), Laurie Cardinal (Frank Jr.) and Craig (Raylene); her grandchildren, Jurnee, Craig Jr., Creeann and Phoenix; her sisters, Flora Gladue and Mabel Aulotte; and her adoptive sons, Ross Quinney (Jean) and Melvin Abraham (Barbara). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren.
