He was predeceased by: his parents, William Isbister and Justina Isbister; and his brother James. He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Warren and Jenine (Derek); his grandson Finn; and his brothers, Don, Doug, Gerry, Glenn and Bruce. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's name may be made to the ALS Society of Alberta.
