She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Howatt; her parents, Arne Braaten and Gunvor Braaten; and her siblings, Engvar Braaten, Jack Braaten and Francis Douglas.
She is survived by: her children, Sydney, Murray (Brenda) and Dale; her grandchildren, Sarah (Shea), Paul (Leah) and Steven (Abby); and her siblings, Inger Worthen (Dave), Diane and Gordon.
