Mary Makowecki Obituary

In loving memory of Mary Makowecki (Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta), who departed this world on March 22, 2025 at the age of 99. Mary leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Anna Rawluk; her husband Dmytro Makowecki (Dan); her daughter Clara Latham; her son-in-law Barry Latham; her father Nick Rawluk; her brothers, William (Elizabeth) and John (Irene); and her grandparents, Maria and Mike Lukenchuk.

She is survived by: her grandchild Baba; her sons, Clarence (Lorraine), Raymond (Janice) and Tom; her grandchildren, Natalie (Kevin), Geoffrey (Nicola), Jennifer, Michele (Greg), Kyla (Scott), Brian (Lauren), James (Serena), Trish and Sheri (Mike); and her great grandchildren, Tristan, Brynton, Evan, Miles, Jaxon, Abigail, Alexander, Owen, Danielle, Nicholas, Charlie, Errol, Adriana, Rhylee, Oscar, Simone and Karis. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and many relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Fort Saskatchewan Community Hall (9964 93 Ave, Fort Saskatchewan, AB T8L1N4).

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of choice.
