She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Jaime Beltran; and her parents, Corina Hidalgo and Lorenzo Hidalgo. She is survived by: her children, Sandra (Medhat) and Galo; her grandson Gabriel; and her siblings, Hernan (America), Leonardo (Magda), Jenny, Rodrigo, Rocio and Fernando (Angela). She is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
She was honored by the Rotary International Foundation in Ecuador with the Paul Harris Award for her humanitarian work with children.
