She was predeceased by: her son Chad David Mozil; her siblings, Leah Maddison and Brian Bello; and her parents, Melio Bello and Gladys Bello.

She is survived by: her husband John Edward Burrell; her daughter Rhonda Lynn Thompson; her grandchildren, Joshua and Sarah Thompson; and her sisters-in-law, Helen Bello, Hazel Burrell, Janet Burrell and Linda Burrell.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made either to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, or to the Palliative Care Unit at the Grey Nun's Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta.
