It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolin Marie Barnes (Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta), who passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Patrick Henry Leeb; and her sister Shawn. She is survived by: her husband Richard Kent Barnes; her sons, Steven Barnes (Sherri), Owen Barnes, Adam Barnes (Nancy) and Jeremy Barnes (Madison); her mother Helen Lillian Leeb-Kreiser (Ken); her sisters, Pamela Frederick (Dan) and Carmen Leeb (Kelly); and her grandchildren, Brooke, Brody, Adelaide, Gunner, Patrick, Joel, Aubrie, Cooper, Blake, Hunter and Henry. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church (10004 101 St, Fort Saskatchewan, AB T8L1R6). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the heart and stroke foundation in her honour.
