Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Melvin Steinhauer in Fort McMurray, Alberta, born in Saddle Lake, Alberta, who passed away at the age of 79, on February 9, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Steinhauer and Clara Steinhauer (Cardinal); his grandchildren, Mary Jane and Nolan Louison; his siblings, Violet Cardinal (Harry), Eva Rehaume, Caroline Jackson (Oscar), Rena Halfe, Marvin, George, Harry Harvey and Allan; and also Jim Whitford.

He is survived by: his wife Delia; his sons, Darryl (Debbie), Dale and Marvin (Amber); his grandchildren, Matthew (Jaycie), Tasheena (Ivan Arcand), Trinity, Julianna, Jordan Louison, Jessie Louison, Tara Raine McGilvery and Darius Arcand; his great grandchildren, Tanner, Linkoln and Ashton; his siblings, Arnold (Theresa) and Audrey (Gordon Gadwa); his siblings-in-law, Richard Rehaume and Victoria Brighteyes; his brother Richard Plodzien (Anne) of Lucas; and also, Stan Sparklingeyes, Sheila Tremblay, Steve Cheechoo, Mark Staudinger and Dr. Jeff Winterstein.
