She was predeceased by: her parent Neil; her husband Lloyd; her parent-in-law George Thomas; her sister Ethel Barnes; her brother-in-law Arthur Thomas; and also, Clara Thomas and Ella Munden.
She is survived by: her children, Trevor Thomas (Heidi) of Port and Nicole Thomas (Edgar) of Fort McMurray, AB; her stepson George Thomas of Halifax, NS; her child Jaden Giles of Emily Matthews; her siblings, Georgina MacNeil (Dougie) of George, River, Cape Breton, Sandra MacKinnon of Toronto, Ont and Greg MacKinnon (Marie France) of Beaumont, AB; her siblings-in-law, Lew of Roland Barnes and Marie Thomas of Port; and also, Cathy Matthews (Lewis) of Port, Jasmine Thomas, Logan Thomas, Cory Matthews, Christopher Matthews, Ryan Allen, Neil MacKinnon (Ann Marie) of Little Pond, Cape Breton, Darrel MacKinnon of Sydney Mines and Cape Brenton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
