John Oberg Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2024, at the age of 77, John Oberg (Forestburg, Alberta), born in Galahad, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmer Oberg and Donna Oberg (Bish). He is survived by: his children, Carla Oberg Yorke and Pierre Oberg (Kristina); his granddaughter Winter Oberg; the mother of his children René Neumann; his siblings, Dianne Oberg (Marty Taylor), Gerry Oberg (Gloria), Allen Oberg (Mariette Forseille) and Marion Oberg Riise (Ken Riise); and his friend Colleen Brodyk. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Daysland Hospital Foundation, Forestburg Community Enhancement Fund for the Friends of BRR Society, or Pleasington Historical Society.
