We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2018, George Andrew Nelson (Forestburg, Alberta), born in Ashmont, Alberta passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Andrew Nelson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his wife Delores; and his brothers, William and Helmer. He is survived by: his children, Lorri Christensen (Doug) of Calgary, Joann Windiuk (Greg) of Ardrossan, Rhonda Sorensen (Glen) of Blackfalds, Peter Nelson (Cheri) of Forestburg, Andrea Weinmeirer (James) of St. Paul and Jennifer Warren of St. Paul; and his sister Ingaborg Barley (Kent) of Chilliwack, B. C. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

If family and friends so desire, memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the Ashmont Community Cemetery (Box 102 Mallaig, AB T0A 2K0) or to the Alberta Cancer Foundation (http://www.donation.albertacancer.ca).
