He was predeceased by: his parents, Dirk Dykshoorn (Dick) and Dena (Jansen); and his brother Peter. He is survived by: his wife Lorinda; his children, Shellie (Jerry Wolverton), Chet (Tania Dykshoorn), Beckie (Justin Elway), Kristy (Mark Johnson) and Sam (Michelle Dykshoorn); his grandchildren, Jaida, Kayleigh, Coehn Wolverton, Maddyson, Lucas, Elizabeth Dykshoorn, Noah, Lucy, Ethan Elway, Jaden and Jax Dykshoorn; and his sisters, Marion Wilde (Bryan), Leona Heppler and Wanda Williams (Gary).
