He was predeceased by: his father William "Sonny" Buis; and his niece Cammie Magnuson. He is survived by: his wife Kerri (Rowley); his mother Charlotte Buis (Dillenbeck); his sister Lisa Bechthold (Warren); his children, Taunie Magnuson (Nathan), Colby Bechthold, Chris Preddy (Ron), Kristen and Luke; his sisters-in-law, June Roy and Leslie Treiber (Lyle); and his nieces and nephews, Teri (Craig) and Kale (Courtney). He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
