He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Paule Roy (Bruyere); his son-in-law Walter Miller; his parents, Frank Roy and Alphena Roy (Labrecque); and his siblings, Andreanna Guenette, Laurence Dumas, Eva Michaud, Arthur, Omer, Joe, Eugene and Paul.
He is survived by: his friend Stella Kryzalka; his children, Victor Roy (Eveline), Leon Roy (Annette), Michel Roy (Aline), Albert Roy (Jenny), Claude Roy (Leann), Doris Miller (Walter) and Paulette Dickner (Roger); his sisters, Yvonne Laliberte and Germaine Tardif; and his siblings-in-law, Jeannine Roy, Eugenie Roy, Lucille Roy, Jean Groenink, Claire Ryhorchuk, Denise Sirockman, Cecile Smith and Victor Bruyere. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.
