She was predeceased by: her parents, Heinrich Luken and Frieda Luken; her sons, Michael, Hubert, Nick and Chris; her siblings, Maria Luken, Alfons Luken (Agnes), Otto Luken, Elli Samson (Hubert), Erna Newman (William), Joseph Luken, Henry Luken and Ignatz Luken; and her parents-in-law, Ottilie Thoma, Mary Fischer (Fred) and Albert Schulzki.

She is survived by: her husband John Thoma; her daughter Edith (Paul Richard); her grandchildren, Simon Melanson, Zachary Melanson, Samuel Melanson and Hannah Melanson; her daughter Bernie Pentland (Ray); her grandson Eric; her daughter Ingrid Primrose (Stewart); her grandsons, Neil and Michael; her daughter-in-law Ramona Thoma; her grandchildren-in-law, Brandon, Samantha and Katherine; her daughter-in-law Mavis Thoma; her grandchild-in-law Jordyn; her siblings, Agnes Bruenig and Hubert Luken (Dianne); and her parents-in-law, Liz Luken, Denise Luken, Anna Schulzki, Peter, Ida Thoma and Alphonse Pfoh.
