He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hardie and Irene Hardie; and his brothers, John and Bob. He is survived by: his wife Amy; his daughters, Janice (Brian), Sandra (Will) and Michelle (Colin); and his sister Karen (Verne). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
