He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie and Samuel; and his siblings, John, Terry, Mike, Josephine Pawlyk, Catherine Gordey and Mary Perrie.

He is survived by: his wife Esther; his children, David (Diane), Jim (Mary-Lou) and Carol; his grandchildren, Tavis (Jillian), Michael, Samuel, Anna-Lise and Ella-Mae (Patrick); his great grandchildren, Keisha and Ethan; and his siblings, Steve (Edna), Peter, Rosie Edwards, Anne Vandendooren, Natalie Borynec, Nellie Waschuk and Minnie Choma. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
