He was predeceased by: his parents, Jens Aarbo and Doris Aarbo; his daughter Cindy St. Jean; and the mother of his children Donna Aarbo. He is survived by: his sons, Murray Aarbo and Donald Aarbo (Shannon); his close friend Viola Lillemoen; his grandchildren, Donna Young (Nathan), Amanda Jafry (Zakir), Alyxandra Thiessen (Quinton), Joshua Aarbo, Samantha Lyons (Mike), Jessica Aarbo and Alicia Aarbo (John); his great grandchildren, Micah Young, Lillian Young, Zahra Jafry and Grace Lyons; and his siblings, Doreen Lawton (Paul), Loretta Pinder (George), Marvin Aarbo (Terry), Harvey Aarbo (Elaine) and Ken Aarbo (Jacki).
