She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Lutyk and Hazel Hamel (Lutyk); her stepfather Armand Hamel; her former husband Fred Appleton Jr.; her children, Dale Appleton and Donna Charlton; her grandchildren, Tammy Charlton and Charles Maddex; her great grandchild Clara Lynn Appleton; her siblings, Clarry Lutyk (Ruth) and Marie Windram (Alex); her sister-in-law Myrna Fox; her nephews, Robert and James Lutyk; and her great-nephew Wade Racine.

She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Appleton, Darrel Appleton (Tracey) and Darren Appleton; her daughter-in-law Linda Appleton; her grandchildren, Cody Appleton (Eastlyn), Troy Appleton (Tess), Shannon Wilm (Ryan), Damien Thurston (Tiffany), Pamela Cobbe (Reece), Jessica, Jennifer, Jasmine Appleton, Cody Maddex (Sam), Tyrell and Nicole Appleton; her great grandchildren, Oscar, Iver Appleton, Xander Appleton, Taylor Charlton, Graydon, Briana, Max Cobbe, Alexander, Issac Appleton, Jaxson, Riley, Ashton Maddex, Harley and Maxwell Maddex; her great great grandchild Julius Charlton; her brother Steve Lutyk (Toni); and her siblings-in-law, Violet Lutyk and Bill Fox. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
