She was predeceased by: her husband Mike Habiak; her parents, Bazyli Shmyr and Eva Shmyr; and her siblings, Anne Ruzycki, John, Andy, Joe, Fred, Milton, Steve, Bill and Nick Shmyr.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Habiak of Elk Point, AB, Carol Maas of Elk Point, AB, Sharon Habiak and Michael Habiak of Elk Point, AB; her grandchildren, Chantelle Hammond (Ryan), Jonathan, Alexander and Michael Habiak; her great grandchildren, Emily and Jack Hammond; and her siblings, Mike Shmyr of Rycroft, AB, Peter Shmyr of Fairview, AB and Vicky McIntyre of Abbotsford, BC..
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in memory of Mary may be sent to the Canadian Cancer Society, 200-325 Manning Rd, NE, Calgary, AB T2E 2P5 or charity of one's choice.
