It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lucille Smith of Elk Point, Alberta, who passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her children, Gayle Povaschuk and Bruce Wesley Smith; and her parents, Bruce Hannah and Hazel Hannah. She is survived by: her husband Allen; her children, Danny Povaschuk (Maria), Allan Povaschuk, Shelly Povaschuk-Brake (Jim) and Shane Smith (Jodi); her stepchildren, Donny Smith (Nellie), Darlene Bensmiller (Buddy) and Gwen Morris (Tyler); her grandchildren, Justin Povaschuk, Kyle Povaschuk (Cheyenne), Brooklynn Nicholson, Jaylah Nicholson, Lexee Smith and Jaxon Smith; her stepgranddaughters, Julie Barnett (Ryan) and Erika (Tim); her children, Jason Morris (Corinne), Jessica Morris, Lisa Bensmiller (Vern Nolin), David Bensmiller (Krista), Kurt Bensmiller (Ashly) and Chance Bensmiller (Karly); her brother Dennis Hannah; her nieces, Laurie Wachniak (Ron) and Denise Fleming (Dave); and her nephew Catlin Thomas. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel (5626 51 St, St. Paul, AB T0A3A1).
